Program Overview

The National Honor Society's purpose is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to render service to the community, to promote leadership and to develop character in students. Selection for membership is based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership and service. To be considered for membership, a student must be a second-semester sophomore, a junior, or a first-semester senior with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.6 and must be enrolled in at least 6 academic classes for credit.

Tutoring

**All members are required to meet the three hours/year tutoring obligation. These hours must be completed at C.D. Hylton HS and signed by a C.D. Hylton HS staff member.

NHS MEMBERS: This is the sign up starting on 12/5/19  in Mrs. Abalos' room E-100. 
NEED A TUTOR?? Academic tutoring will take place in E-100 (Mrs. Abalos' room) on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning 12/5/19.
