Guidelines for students with devices

Non-Returning Students (Graduates, Transfers, Movers) 

Students who are not returning to C.D. Hylton High School for the 2021-22 school year can return their device June 8-11, 8 AM – 4 PM. @ Door 3.

Please ensure student and parents have reviewed documents, prior to device return:

o    Regulation 426.01-2 - Accounting of Student "Take-Home" Digital Devices that are Classified as Expendable Property   

o    Parent Student Handbook on Digital Devices   

o    Digital Device Loan Agreement 

 Returning Students 

Please fill out the Student Device Accountability form, which will assist us with accountability of devices. You will keep your device for the summer unless it is damaged or not working properly. If you have a problem with your device, please bring it to Hylton HS between June 8-11,  8 AM – 4 PM. @ Door 3.

Read and familiarize yourself with the following documents:

Summer Accountability and Responsibility for Your Returning Device:

While you have your device over the summer, it is important that your device; 

o        Be plugged in, charged, and used over the summer to maintain battery life  

o        Stays current with updates, you will need to visit the Hylton parking lot (or any PWCS school), during the month of August, to connect to the PWCS network and receive any necessary updates. 

§     You do not need to stay for the full install, it will keep downloading and installing the information.
