Code Red:
- All PWCS schools and offices are closed
- All school activities (day and evening) are canceled including field trips, team practices, club meetings, interscholastic contests, and athletic contests
- Students may use the day optionally to catch-up or voluntarily work on assignments already assigned.
Code Orange: Code Orange may be implemented if school buildings must close and operate virtually for an extended period, such as five or more school days
- Synchronous (Live) Learning Day for students and remote work for non-essential employees
- School buildings, office buildings, and SACC are closed
- Buses will not operate
- Live, virtual classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Students MUST turn on their cameras and participate in the class to be counted present. Blurred or other backgrounds may be utilized.

Students will have an hour for lunch and five-minute breaks between classes.

Flex periods will rotate as they normally would if we were in the building.

Students enrolled in PWCS K-8 Virtual Academy, Virtual Prince William, and Virtual Virginia should follow their normal schedule.

- Remote (virtual) extracurricular activities may occur
- Students who have forgotten their school-issued device may use another device or phone to access online applications such as Canvas, Office 365, and Zoom.
- Students will log in to their classes using Canvas and Zoom.
- Families will need to contact the Help Desk for any technology challenges.
Code Green:
- Schools are closed. Offices closed to the public.
- Virtual classes canceled.
- School Age Child Care (SACC) will not open.
- All school activities (day and evening) are canceled including field trips, team practices, club meetings, interscholastic contests, and athletic contests
- All non-school activities (day and evening) are canceled including Adult Education, evening school classes, and recreational programs scheduled in school buildings.
- Students may use the day optionally to catch-up or voluntarily work on assignments already assigned.
2 Hour Delay:
- In-person and virtual PWCS classes will begin two hours late
- A simplified breakfast will be offered. Lunch will be served
- Field Trips are canceled
