Specialty programs focus on career exploration, subject area concentration, and college/university preparation.

Students may participate in the comprehensive program at their base high school, apply for the specialty program at their base high school, or apply to transfer to another high school for a specialty program.

Specialty Program Information Sessions

Hylton High School will host two program-specific information sessions. 

• November 12, 2025 - 6:00-8:00 p.m. - Hylton HS Auditorium
• January 13, 2026 - 6:00-8:00 p.m. - Hylton HS Auditorium

PWCS will also be hosting a Specialty Program information webinar that offers an overview of each program and the application process. This year's webinar will take place on October 28, 2025 at 6:00pm on Zoom. 

Applications open on Monday, November 3, 2025.
