Upcoming CISL Events:
1. Senior Scholarships Open
When: Please submit by Sunday, May 5th at the latest. Submit a resume and a personal statement about what you learned or how being in CISL helped you grow (2 page maximum typed). Email Mrs. Terenchin your responses.
Where: All CISL students meeting the requirements for the CISL Graduate with Honors Track
Earn: Scholarships of more than $500 from our CISL Boosters. See information in the May newsletter above.
2. CISL Banquet
When: Saturday May 18th, from 6-8:30 pm at Hylton High School
6:00-7:00- Buffet Dinner from Layla's Lebanese, $10 a person- optional but encouraged
7:00-8:30- Presentation of Awards, Recogintion, and Dessert- free and open to all
What: CISL Banquet to celebrate all of the hard work and dedication of our CISL Seniors, CISL Committee Members, Foreign Exchange Students, Students who Hosted students, and our incredible CISL Booster Parents!
Where: at Hylton!

3. Final CISL General Meeting- Potluck and Elections!
When: Thursday, May 16th from 2:30 pm-4:00 pm
What: Our final CISL General Meeting for the 2023-2024 school year will be a potluck! Bring a dish or snack to share with others! We will also global updates and hear speeches for our CISL Election!
Earn: Up to 8 CISL points by attending this meeting and bringing a dish or a snack to share!
4. CISL Elections
When: Thursday, May 16th during the May CISL General Meeting
Where: Hylton High School from 2:30-4:00 pm
What: Get more involved with the CISL program, plan and carry out CISL program activities and events! Make lifelong friendships! Build your resume for college and participate in fun and Exclusive CISL Committee Leadership Events and more!
Earn: 15 CISL points for participating in Committee
How:

Step 2. Show up to the General Meeting on Thursday, May 16th ready to give a 30 second- 1 minute and 30 second long speech about why you want to join committee! (If you can't make it to that meeting you can record a flipgrid in advance that can be shown at the meeting)
5. CISL Parent Meeting
When: Monday, May 13th at 7:00 pm
Where: In the Hylton High School Library
What: To discuss upcoming CISL events including the banquet!
